Dell are 1st in the top 25 companies to work for in Ireland

Dell has been ranked the best place to work in Ireland by jobs website Indeed for the 2nd year in succession.
Apple, the world’s largest company, claimed the number two spot and homecare specialist Comfort Keepers was ranked third.

Indeed’s index is based on employee reviews submitted to the website. The findings were only based on Irish reviews that large companies received.

Numerous firms that featured last year were absent from 2018′s list, namely Tesco, IBM, Boston Scientific, Accenture, PayPal, Argos and TK Maxx.

Senior vice president of human resources at Indeed, Paul Wolfe, said: “As the economy nears full employment, there is intense competition among companies to secure the best candidates for roles.
“Companies have recognised for some time that there is more to employee satisfaction than remuneration.
“Attraction of staff – let alone their continued retention – demands investment in work-life balance, flexibility, a supportive and collaborative working environment and opportunities to progress and learn, and this is evident in the companies we have ranked today.”
