Professional job vacancies available in increased by 3.11% for June 2018

According to the Morgan McKinley Employment Monitor for June 2018 the number of professional job vacancies available increased by 3.11% nationally since May. Overall, the availability of professional jobs increased by 12.3% in June 2018 compared to the same month a year ago.

There was a reduction of 3.7% in the number of professionals seeking new roles in June compared to the previous month. The monitor also recorded a decrease of 14.4% in the number of professionals actively seeking new job opportunities in June 2018, compared to June 2017. This reflects current economic conditions and the fact that Ireland’s unemployment rate has fallen to 5.1%.
