LinkedIn plans to release “Talent Insights,” a resource intended to give HR executives and recruiters information that can help them both tactically and strategically in, late summer 2018. LinkedIn has amassed a vast amount of data about its users, their job skills and job moves and “Talent Insights” which was announced last October will provide direct access to this data on talent pools and companies.
Eric Owski, Head of product, talent insights and talent brand said at the launch “I think talent leaders will be the audience for this product, professionals who have visibility into the day-to-day operations but also have a role to play in strategic planning and to align a company’s talent strategy with its business strategy.” Talent Insights will come, initially, with two views, called ‘Talent Pool’ and ‘Company report’.
LinkedIn which is a Microsoft subsidiary has around 546 million users in 200 countries and territories.
