Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre of Excellence (AMTCE)
The AMTCE located in the Xerox Technology Park, Dundalk was established by LMETB in January of 2021 with funding from SOLAS and Enterprise Ireland. The focus of the centre is to address the training needs of the manufacturing domain in Ireland. Sectors such as engineering, pharma, food and drink and medical devices are undergoing a digital transformation driven by the adoption of industry 4.0 related technologies and processes. These changes are creating a need for companies and their employees to reskill and upskill to support the adoption of key technologies such as Robotics, Additive manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity etc. The AMTCE is addressing the needs of industry through the provision of training through certified and industry certified courses using flexible delivery mechanisms including classrooms, blended, online and eLearning. The centre provides access to state-of-art industrial grade equipment to ensure learners receive a high-quality hands-on learning experience and acquire skills which are highly valued by employers. Training opportunities for companies and employees are supported and funded under the SOLAS Skills to Advance policy. Details of courses and schedules can be found on the AMTCE website (www.amtce.ie). If you are interested in a course, please call the Centre on 042 941 9040 or email us at [email protected]
