The Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, Roderic O’Gorman, launched a Call for Proposals seeking applications from suitably qualified organisations for funding of projects under the Programme for Employment, Inclusion, Skills and Training (EIST) 2021-2027

The funding is being made available under the EIST programme, which is jointly funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Government of Ireland, for activities to address the integration and employment of Migrants.

This Activity is aimed at legally resident migrants who are experiencing barriers to participation and employment because of language difficulties, lack of training or social exclusion. The Activity proposes to increase the levels of employability of the participants. The Funds Administration Unit of the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth is issuing and managing the Call for Proposals.

The specific categories of persons targeted by this Activity are as follows: –

  • Migrants (EEA) who are resident in Ireland
  • Third Country Nationals with permission to enter employment in Ireland, including Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection fleeing the war in Ukraine.

Call for Proposals documentation is now available on the Funds Administration Unit page of Gov.ie. Completed applications should be sent to the Funds Administration Unit to arrive by 12:00 noon on 29 August 2022.
